Introduction
Helping others discover freedom from addictions and other destructive lifestyles.
I am a full time missionary working with the missionary organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In this, I work with the Addictive Behavior Counseling School, training Addiction Counselors who will then Go, Reach-Out and Help others who are caught in the bondage of addiction. The training is mainly in Switzerland with an Organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM) but the students are from all over the world (USA, Canada, South America, Australia, Africa, Europe and Asia) and the next school starts on 6th January 2013. I also run Addiction Related Seminars, mainly in Madagascar and Zimbabwe (Africa). My heart is to start a Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center in Zimbabwe.
When you become involved in the work that I am doing, helping other discover freedom from the bondage of addiction, a broken family is restored, an addict starts recovery, an abuse is replaced by care and a new life is built.

Many people in the world are caught in bondage of addictions such as alcoholism, chemical dependency, co-dependency, eating disorders, etc. because of abuse, shame, unresolved grief or other unresolved issues. God desires to set these people free, and we as Christians are challenged to help them break free from the self-destructive behaviors used to cover their pain. The healing will come as we bring those people to focus on the finished work of the Cross and Jesus.
The main skills taught in the Addictive Behavior Counseling Schools (ABCS) are: understanding and leading support and process groups (Basic Psychotherapy Groups), Trauma resolution (how to deal with the roots), and addiction counseling skills. While learning these skills each student will also have the opportunity to work on their personal issues of recovery from childhood trauma, addictions, or other problems. Our focus is to train counselors who then may train others or work in a recovery type of mercy ministry. The school is not for individuals that primarily need therapy for personal issues.
We welcome any support that you may have. You can support us through prayer, encouragement, fundraising ideas, financially and which every way.
